We manufacture cleaning solutions for the maintenance needs of the rail industry. Our product range includes systems specifically designed for cleaning bogies, wheelsets, traction motors, bearings, and bearing housings. These solutions are ideal for maintenance operations in railway, metro, and tram transport sectors.

Bogie and wheelset cleaning machines can be equipped with either one or two doors. The two-door configuration enables smooth through-feed operation and efficient workflow in the customer’s production process.

The bogie cleaning chamber can be fitted with rails, allowing bogies to roll through the machine on their wheelsets. Alternatively, if more versatile cleaning of different components is required, the machine can be equipped with a powered cleaning carriage with integrated rails for the bogies. This allows the bogies to be rolled directly from the customer’s tracks onto the carriage, where they are locked in place for the cleaning process. The cleaning carriage also enables the cleaning of bogie frames without wheelsets, which can be lifted directly onto the carriage using the customer’s crane. Smaller parts can also be cleaned using separate cleaning baskets.

Bogie cleaning machines can be equipped with a manual cleaning unit, allowing pre-cleaning of hard-to-reach areas using the same cleaning liquid. The liquid flows back into the machine’s own filtration system, so no separate wastewater is generated. Bogie cleaners are available as 2-stage systems, including clean and rinse cycles.

Wheelset cleaning machines are equipped with a lifting and rotation system, ensuring thorough cleaning of the entire wheelset. After cleaning, the wheelsets are discharged from the chamber using an automatic push-out system. Wheelset cleaning machines are available in 1-stage and 2-stage configurations.

For cleaning traction motors, Aqua Clean offers a chamber-type cleaning machine equipped with a movable internal spray system. During the process, the exterior of the motor is washed by rotating upper and lower spray pipes, while the interior is cleaned with the moving internal spray nozzle.

For cleaning bearings and bearing housings, Aqua Clean chamber cleaners can be equipped with custom-designed jigs and, if necessary, special nozzles. To remove oil and grease effectively, the machines can be fitted with oil and grease separators, which efficiently remove petroleum jelly-based residues and extend the service life of the cleaning liquid.
