Aqua Clean Oy has signed an agreement to deliver a Cylinder Block Cleaning Line to AGCO Power Inc’s engine factory in Linnavuori, Finland, and by so doing, has received one of it’s largest ever orders. The new cleaning line will consist of a deburring unit (deburring and pre-cleaning cylinder blocks post machining by a robotic high pressure system), a cleaning unit (AQUA CLEAN HF-cleaner), a vacuum drying unit (AQUA CLEAN -vacuum drier) and a cooling station (AQUA CLEAN -cooler) which cools the blocks after the cleaning operation and in preparation for a quality inspection process.
This Cleaning system will be integrated into the new advanced manufacturing line, which is controlled by AGCO Power’s MES process, and is a part of their €100m plus investment program into the Linnavuori operation. The new Cylinder Block Cleaning Line ensures the high demands for cleanliness and dryness required in line with the modern manufacturing process.
Over the last 25 years, Aqua Clean has supplied several cleaning machines to AGCO Power’s Linnavuori factory. The latest, of which, will be this Cylinder Block Cleaning Line scheduled for delivery in early 2021.
